All cylinder seals, wear bands, rod and housing are inspected for damages.  In most cases, for regularly maintained cylinders, the cylinder starts to leak requiring seal replacements. 

Rebuild Services

The condition of a hydraulic cylinder when  it enters our shop is important as this determines what parts can be salvaged, refurbished and reused.   The Cylinder Shoppe disassembles, tests and evaluates damaged cylinders to discover the underlying problem.   Once the underlying problem is identified, we begin the process of refurbishing the damaged components.

A refurbished cylinder can result in significant savings to you compared to purchasing new.

All parts and repairs meet or exceed O.E.M. specifications. 

Maintenance

A worn cylinder can cause havoc to pumps, valves and hydraulic components. 

Having a cylinder regularly serviced with a maintenance plan in mind will far outweigh the cost of repairing preventative damages.
